As you’re aware, the Government recently brought in guidance for large venues to make it mandatory for COVID-19 Passes to be shown prior to entry, or in the case of people who have not had the vaccine, proof a negative result from a COVID Test (PCR or LFT).
This guidance also applies to late night venues open past 1am with music and a space for dancing.
Unfortunately, on New Years Eve we fall in to the Late night dance venue as we are open past 1am, which we have had this confirmed by the Public Protection team at Stockport Council. This means members and visitors will need to provide proof of vaccination or a negative test result to be allowed entry into the Club on New Years Eve ONLY.
Therefore, you will need to bring the following with you on New Years Eve to gain entry:
- COVID-19 Pass – either on your Smartphone or a Hard Copy which can be obtained from your GP or the following site – https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/covid-pass/get-your-covid-pass-letter/
- Proof of a negative Lateral Flow Test (LFT) or PCR test dated within 24 hrs – You can show us either a text or email confirming your details.
We will NOT accept a photo of a LFT test.
LFT’s can be ordered for home delivery here – https://www.gov.uk/order-coronavirus-rapid-lateral-flow-tests, they are also available to collect from local pharmacies, find your nearest here – https://maps.test-and-trace.nhs.uk/.
Anyone unable to provide a COVID-19 pass or proof of negative LFT/PCR will be denied entry. You do not need to have received your booster. If you’ve only had 1 vaccine, this needs to have been in the last 12 weeks. If your first vaccine was done more than 12 weeks ago, you’ll need to have had your second vaccine to gain entry.
We appreciate this is short notice for members and any member who feels that they will not be able to provide either of these things can request a refund for there ticket by seeing the office or emailing secretary@nrwmc.co.uk.
